Catie Offerman is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Raised on a 350-acre ranch in New Braunfels, Texas, Catie is a southern girl at heart. She gravitated to music at the early age of 4 after listening to vintage records with her grandfather. After years of practicing the violin, Catie began performing professionally at the age of 11, and began touring full time by the age of 12. Catie always had a passion for learning multiple instruments and today she is very skilled in piano, guitar, accordion, and fiddle to go with her extremely proficient singing and songwriting abilities.
Catie’s musical style can best be described as a mixture of country and pop. Artists that range from Alison Krauss to Keith Urban have heavily influenced Catie’s music and they have contributed to her very unique and exciting sound.
Catie has performed her music all over the United States, France, Russia, Estonia and Finland. She has played fiddle alongside many artists including Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Josh Abbott, Robert Earl Keen, and Bobby Flores - and has opened for international star Andrea Bocelli and country music group Eli Young Band.
Catie has also made stunning academic achievements. In fact, she was accepted into college at the age of 11, attending part time, which enabled her to accommodate her busy touring schedule. By the age of 16 she had received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she graduated when she was just 19 years old.
Currently living in Nashville and Los Angeles, Catie has spent the last year working with several phenomenal writers/producers on her debut album. The songs are in their final stages of production – and Catie cannot wait to share them with the world!
